🍫Classic Chocolate Fudge Brownies🍫

I LOVE brownies. I’ve had an overwhelming sweet tooth lately, and seeing as I have all the in for these delicious classic style brownies- they’re the perfect dessert to whip up in a pinch!

You will need:


1 Cup of All Purpose Flour

1 Cup of Sugar

2/3 Cup of Plant Butter

1/3 Cup of Organic Cacao Powder (I personally love Natierra)

1/2 Cup of Semi Sweet Morsels (I HIGHLY SUGGEST the new Toll House Certified Vegan ones!!!! They are amazing!)

3 Tbsp of Apple Sauce

1 Tbsp of Pure Vanilla Extract (Organic TASTES better)

1 Tsp of Baking Powder

1/2 Tsp of Fine Sea Salt **Aluminum Foil or Parchment Paper**

**9x9 Baking Pan**

**Olive Oil for greasing**


To start, preheat your oven to 350° and begin melting your butter on the stove.


~ Allow the butter to cool off a bit once it is melted while you prepare the rest of the ingredients ~


Gather all of your wet ingredients (butter, sugar, apple sauce, vanilla extract) into one bowl and your dry ingredients (flour, cocoa, baking powder, salt) into a different bowl.

Whisk both bowls separately, and once combined, slowly add the wet ingredients into the dry bowl while continuing to whisk until smooth.


Fold in your chocolate chips.


Line your baking pan with aluminum foil or parchment paper and grease it with olive oil. Slowly pour your batter into the pan and then place in the oven for 30-35 minutes (check at 30 minutes with a knife- if it comes out clean, they’re done!)


Allow brownies to cool for 10 minutes, lift foil/parchment to bring brownies out of the pan and allow them to cool while in their ”sling“ for about 15 more minutes (or if you don’t care if they stay together and want to just dig in, feel free to do that).

Cut, & enjoy!
